I have the opportunity to exhibit my photographic work in an art gallery in Belgium. Great news for me, I'm really happy and excited about that ! The exhibition will be held in june 2014. I already have a lot of prints to show, but I have some more to print and frame. I really want to get them printed on great quality paper, and this is quite expensive, so I thought I would ask the community to help me fund the printing of my pictures. Hello dear watchers and deviants, I've been quite inactive these last weeks on DA and I thought I'd just drop a little note just to explain things. Me and my little family have been moving to a new house, which kept me really busy and didn't left me much time to take pictures and to be on DA. Also, I'm going to be daddy for the second time in a few months, lots of changes in my life and not much time to be productive. But the good news; for those interested, is that I just began my explorations of abandoned places again, so expect some shots soon...

I don't think many people are interested in buying prints of my work, so that's the reason why I don't add a print version of my works, but just in case some of you may be interested in buying prints, just drop me a note with which work interest you and I'll upload a print version of the work...

I've got a new work as webdesigner and I'm really busy these times with it, leaving me not much free time, that's why I'm not very active at the moment.

I know this sounds a bit like a Henry Miller's book, but I thought that for my first entry in this journal, it would be nice to introduce myself a bit. First of all, excuse my bad english, it is not my native tongue.

So, I'm a 30 year old boy, living in Brussels in Belgium, in an old appartment with my girlfriend and my 3 cats. I'm working (or at least, trying to work) as a freelance graphic designer/webdesigner. I work only with open-source software (running on a Linux box), though I've first learned Photoshop, Illustrator,... I use Gimp, Inkscape, Xara LX, Bluefish, amongst others.

On a religious point of view, I'm an atheist, on a political point of view, I'm an anarchist (yeah, I truly believe in anarchy, still at 30...).

I love Music, mostly rock (big fan of Punk and New Wave), but I also listen  to electro. Some of my favorite bands are: Joy Division, Bauhaus, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Cure, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Einsturzende Neubauten, Aphex twin, Autechre, Exploited, Clash... I also play guitar in a band with my girlfriend called In A Box (we'll soon release a demo, stay tuned ! ), and I play waaay too much to video games...
